Community Support for Meals On Wheels
The Community supports the Meals On Wheels Program through monetary donations and volunteerism. At Christmas citizens support clients of this program by purchasing gifts to be given to them. This is done via a program organized by Home Instead Seniors Care. Clients are truly appreciative of the gifts as a large number have no family close by. Each year, the Quilter’s Guild provides specially made placemats for each client and children from the Alliance Church give special hand made decorations and cards.
